It worked... untill I updated some stuff, now after a couple of hours, Windows complains about this copy is not Original, I activate it and a couple of hours later the same.

I never write comments but felt this was necessary. My boss bootlegged Windows 7 and the screen always said "This is not a genuine copy". I couldn't download updates or Microsoft Security Essentials, I would get an error about the copy not being genuine. I downloaded and ran this torrent, took about 30 seconds. Mircrosoft recognized it an activated version, the updates started downloading immediately and Microsoft Security Essentials is scanning as I type. Thanks!

I brought a brand new LEGALLY copy of win 7 ultimate 32 an 64 bit and windows blocked my key (the cunts wouldn't give me a new key either even though I spent good $$$ on there product)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thx No_Religion you just saved me $600 (thats wat it is retailing for in aus from harvey norman who wouldn't replace or refund the product either) worked perfect first time, fast download and fast install. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TORRENT!!!!!! I run both AVG an windows essentials and neither saw this as a virus!!!!!!!

This program just screwed up my OS boot pretty damn good. I tried to activate my Win 7 and it hosed it so it would hang right after BIOS. I thought the feedback was mostly positive so I tried it out. Bad idea. Looks like it works for some, but not others. You could wind up with a brick if you use this. I finally found a fix for what happened to me if you are unfortunate enough to try it and have bad luck.
1) Boot into System Repair on Windows disk.
2) Start a command line session
3) Run the following command: bootsect.exe /nt60 sys /force
That should fix problem number one. Unfortunately a lot of other system files like drivers got hosed by going through this process, so I've been painstakingly fixing these issues for the last 5 hours. Thanks for this file.

Ok for those of you who are doing an install because you get the, " this version of windows is not legitimate," go into windows update, and remove the update KB971033, now by what i've experienced this may not always work, but sometimes it can, for those of you doing a clean install, i suggest that you do the updates first, and watch out for that KB971033 update, once you get past that, use the activator and it should work fine :) that update is only triggered once, just make sure you don't install it again, i have my windows update set to download the installs, but not to install it without my say so. hope this helps.
