Alright, I'm new to this and have no idea whats going on. I have a mac and i have downloaded rosetta stone french. it won't work though, I have four folders (data, documentation, languages and speech) that keep on coming up. I also downloaded the powerISO but i have no idea what to do. Just wanted to learn french, but i have no idea whats happening here. Help please

wisher555: You need to download the actual rosetta stone, look on here, there are lots.

French is just a language pack, you need the base Rosetta stone to be able to use it. Good luck bro.

installed, did not run, replaced with file from crack folder, ran program, installed these french language packs - everything seems good.

problem is, it is not backing down on the activation codes. it lets me do all of the lessons that don't require activation, but a bunch of them a grayed and locked out. tried to do the whole xxxx's and 1111's by phone activation - no go. tried a couple of keygen's i found on assorted other torrent pages - no luck.

i'm a total noob - surprised i've even gotten this far - any suggestions? :(

You've clearly put a lot of time into not only helping others obtain Rosetta Stone, but also talking them through their technical troubles with installing and it is very much appreciated. I successfully installed both the French and Spanish Levels 1-5 on Mac OSX Lion, using this (http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/7337333/Rosetta_Stone_v3.4.5_%5BK_ed%5D_for_Mac) as a base, and everything's working perfectly.

I just have a quick question! I did everything you've said and RS is working fine for the French language, but when I reach a certain lesson in level 1, the program doesn't allow me to continue without a serial number for all of the levels. Please help?

And I really want to learn the language, just downloaded this, and i wanted to know if you can guide me with how to install it properly to my PC.. Do i have to download PowerISO, can you please tell me all the procedures.. I would really appreciate it. Thank you sir.

@wisher555 you need to download daemon tools...then click on the .iso to "mount it" and then the auto play thing should come up and then u can install it

Help How do I get the speech recognition to work I keep getting this message.

I have already set my firewall to trust the file now i'm stuck.

I've followed these instructions several times using the self extracting .exe files for RS 3.4.7 and French 1-5 and am still stuck. When I run RS I have only the blank screen. The menu for activating languages shows that all the packs are activated. Any suggestions? (Running Win 7 Home).

Need the activation codes to do all the courses and units.. Can someone please tell me the activation codes for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

I am also having the same problem as stfusarahhh. The program is fixed on getting a code out of me and the xxx's and 111's will not work.

Fixed my own Problem by taking bits and pieces over the past 3 hours and compieling my work around.
If you are having trouble with the Activation part (always asking for a code...w's and 1's wont work) you need the first DL from this guy.

And once you have installed the program from said torrent you move everything from the PATCH folder into C:Program FilesRosetta Stone.

It will ask you if you would like to replace an existing folder click yes and once the transfer is complet double click on Rosetta.Stone.V3.Patch.exe and patch.

Now once you open up Rosetta Stone and try and activate them first put in all X's then once it tells you you have no network and asks if you would like to do by phone hit yes then type in all 1's
this should activate the first 3 right off the bat

Sorry this was the one you need to download and install first then you drag drop and patch.

maybe its just me... but i dont see any ISOs from the language pack? there are some pdfs, a lot of .rsd files... no ISO... help?

Rosetta stone doesn't detect the isos after I've mounted them. It says "The Language CD was not found to install. Please make sure your CD is in the drive."
